The festival combines the best of what Siggraph and BDA Promax have in non-theatrical and commercial animation. We would like to invite you to visit our site www.animiami.com and participate in this important event. Introduction ANIMIAMI's principal goal is to improve the informational exchange between students, educational institutions, and the industry; giving these target markets the opportunity to share their ideas, create an environment to facilitate students’ transition from university to industry, and bring new energy to the trade. ANIMIAMI is an event composed by several different activities such as: The Animation Festival, The Conference, The Job Fair and The Industry Exhibit. The Animation Festival will showcase the work of student’s to industry professionals, guest judges and speakers, as well as the general audience. The winners will be awarded internships in several animation studios in Miami and around the country. Professionals will also have the opportunity to compete in the festival, bringing their expertise and creativity to this exciting event. Animation for gaming, advertising and theatrical will also be accepted as entries to The Animation Festival. E comprova: a história sempre pode ser reescrita ou manipulada (ou pela pesquisa ou por uma trágica imposição política! "1984" G Orwell ;"O admirável Mundo Novo", etc). Valeu sua pesquisa e equiparação com o "olhar" da animação do século XXI. Mas, o mais importante, outra vez trazemos a figura realmente desbravadora de Humberto Mauro, com seu pioneirismo, e te juro, se não existisse o stop motion, ele o criaria, "Dragãozinho Manso", o filme dele, pede isso, fala disso, está envolto numa atmosfera de fábula, de fantasia e da magia dos contos de fadas´. Gênero tão próximo ao mundo animado de então, anos 40, até os anos digitais do nosso 21. Das fábulas modernas, fantásticamente lutadas com espadas luminosas. Congratulo você pelo tanto do universo do cinema brasileiro que repertoriou em seu artigo. Isso é salutar. Faz bem ao cérebro. E, quando puder, coloque a data em que foi escrito seu artigo, e se foi publicado antes, em outra mídia ou se foi publicado pela primeira no site d abca.
